The 2023 Legislative Preview event on Friday, December 9 was to present CEEM’s clean energy champion awards and hear from legislative leaders about their expectations for the upcoming sessions. CEEM’s October Energy Storage Lunch and Learn event was hosted by Mortenson for CEEM members. Expert panelists included Brian Allen, Vice President at All Energy Solar; Brent Bergland Vice President of Product Development at Mortenson; Rao Konidena, President at Rakon Energy; and Mike Patterson System Sales Leader at Trane Technologies. The discussion was moderated by Virginia Mooty Rutter, CEEM’s Director of Engagement and Strategic Initiatives.
On Wednesday, May 25, Finance and Commerce hosted a webinar about the opportunities for Minnesota businesses that exist around decarbonizing the built environment. Clean Energy Economy MN (CEEM) was proud to sponsor and moderate this event that featured four of our business members as panelists.
The 2022 Minnesota Energy Factsheet Rollout Webinar event on Monday, April 25, 2022 was to amplify the new report, provide an overview of the data points and hear how the report impacts Minnesotans from a panel of clean energy business and industry experts. Sponsored by the McKnight Foundation, the webinar was put on in partnership with the Business Council for Sustainable Energy and BloombergNEF and attended by over 100 participants.
The 2022 Virtual Clean Energy Business Day at the Capitol was March 2, 2022 and was a day dedicated to sharing with legislators how Minnesota’s clean energy businesses are leading technology innovation and helping shape the future of Minnesota’s clean energy economy.
“The business community needs a voice. You need to be involved more because there are voices bigger than yours and I have to jump over those rocks every day. This is serious. We can be clean energy nice but opponents make this path a lot harder. All we need to do is send the truthful message and be a neutralizer to those who want to stop this movement.”
