Hi! My name is Katie and I’m super excited to work with CEEM this summer. For the past year I’ve been working in political organizing. Before that, I obtained a degree in Global Studies with a concentration in political economy and environmental change from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
Clean Energy Economy Minnesota (CEEM) is seeking an intern to assist with growing our organization’s communication work across multiple channels and our engagement with the clean energy business community statewide.
In December 2022, CEEM’s Director of Engagement and Strategic Initiatives, Virginia Mooty Rutter, joined Region 9 Development Organization’s delegation to three cities in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany: Münster, Saerbeck, and Düsseldorf.
This internship exceeded my expectations and allowed me to grow in ways I wasn’t anticipating. I am excited to take the skills and knowledge I’ve learned from this internship with me along my educational and career journey.
Hi everyone, my name is Chandra Her and I am joining the CEEM team as the Policy Associate for Government Affairs. I’m thrilled to be joining CEEM as my first job post-grad. I can’t wait to be a part of the awesome work CEEM does.
Hello! I am Olivia Jensen, and I am thrilled to be the summer intern for Clean Energy Economy Minnesota. I will be a senior at the University of Minnesota this fall, majoring in Biology, Society, and Environment with a minor in Public Health. I am passionate about climate change and finding innovative ways to improve global health through sustainable practices.
I feel that the skills that I have learned during my internship have prepared me for the transition into a full-time job. I’m definitely nervous about my next steps, but I am also excited and am looking forward to continuing my job search within the clean energy industry!

CEEM’s Virginia Mooty Rutter joined the Governor’s trade mission to the United Kingdom and Finland last month, where she met with local businesses and government officials to discuss sustainability and clean tech.
