CEEM issues statement in support of fired clean energy champion, Commissioner Steve Kelley
MINNEAPOLIS, MINN – Clean Energy Economy MN (CEEM) released the following statement after the Minnesota Senate voted today to reject the confirmation of Steve Kelley, Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Commerce (DOC).
“As our state continues its transition to cleaner and more sustainable forms of energy, it is imperative – especially during this unprecedented pandemic — that our leaders put Minnesota in a position to maximize job creation and grow our economy, said CEEM Executive Director Gregg Mast. The thoughtful leadership, passion and experience Steve Kelley brought to the job as DOC Commissioner will be difficult to replace. CEEM thanks him for his dedication and service as we work to build a bright and prosperous clean energy future for all Minnesotans.”
