CEEM announces promotions of Amelia Cerling Hennes and Tiffanie Connelly in new reorganization

Clean Energy Economy MN (CEEM) is announcing two exciting promotions as part of its 2023 reorganization and growth plan.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Clean Energy Economy MN (CEEM) is announcing two exciting promotions as part of its 2023 reorganization and growth plan.

Amelia Cerling Hennes, who has been with the organization since 2017, is being promoted to Managing Director. In this newly formed position, Amelia will serve as a trusted liaison between staff and the Executive Director. Amelia will serve as a key contact and spokesperson both internally and externally while providing strategic guidance and direction for the entire organization.

Amelia previously served as the organization’s Director of Communications and Public Affairs. She has provided critical leadership in shaping CEEM’s voice from report rollouts to its policy priorities. She also created and launched a series of storytelling efforts that illustrate how CEEM member businesses have played a pivotal role in Minnesota’s transition to a clean energy economy.

Amelia has demonstrated her commitment to our staff, organization and our shared mission for years; I’m thrilled to have her in this new leadership role that positions us for the opportunities ahead as we work to expand Minnesota’s clean energy economy,” said CEEM Executive Director Gregg Mast.

Tiffanie Connelly, who has been with CEEM since 2020, is being promoted to the position of Senior Manager of Communications. Tiffanie will be overseeing CEEM’s communications and marketing strategy which includes developing and integrating a comprehensive program to enhance and elevate the organization’s brand and position within the many spheres that CEEM operates.

Tiffanie previously served as the Digital Marketing Manager where she led the organization’s rebranding and website redesign and launch. She also helped create and execute a successful digital strategy that is responsible for driving consistent year-over-year growth.

“I’m thrilled to announce Tiffanie Connelly’s promotion to Senior Manager of Communications. This promotion reflects her growth with us over the last three years as communications has been fully integrated into all aspects of CEEM’s work. Her communications aptitude and creative skills are strengths that will serve the entire organization well in this new position,” said Mast.
