On Tuesday this week President Biden signed into the law the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. This bill is the result of years of work by clean energy businesses, advocates, nonprofits, and government agencies to pass legislation that is expected to slash greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2030.

The 2022 Minnesota Energy Factsheet, which tracks clean energy trends in the state through year end 2021, was released today by Clean Energy Economy Minnesota (CEEM) and the Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE). The Factsheet demonstrates how clean energy industries continue to lead the energy transition in the state in 2021, despite major obstacles.

Today, he delivered a proclamation that declares March 2, 2022 as Clean Energy Business Day in the state of Minnesota.
