Clean Energy Economy MN (CEEM) announced today the addition of Taylor Jamison and Farah Mandich to the organization’s Board of Directors.

The 2026 Minnesota Energy Factsheet shows Minnesota continuing to lead on clean energy. For the sixth consecutive year, zero‑carbon sources (renewables and nuclear) supplied a majority of Minnesota’s electricity. In 2025, these resources accounted for 55% of total generation, compared with a national average of 43%.

Minnesota’s clean energy workforce grew to a record 63,802 jobs in 2024, adding nearly 1,700 positions across energy efficiency, renewable energy, and grid technologies. The sector grew faster than the overall state economy, with nearly 40% of these jobs located in Greater Minnesota, supporting affordable, reliable energy and local economic growth.

The 2025 Minnesota Energy Factsheet shows Minnesota continuing to lead on clean energy. For the fifth year in a row, the majority of Minnesota’s electricity is from zero-carbon sources. Power sector emissions hit a record low — down 4% from last year and 52% below 2005 levels. The state also added 388 MW of solar and ranked No. 1 in the Midwest for energy efficiency.

The demonstration program is backed by the Minnesota Energy Alley initiative — led by Clean Energy Economy Minnesota, in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Commerce and Grid Catalyst. Minnesota Energy Alley was launched in 2024 to drive innovation and secure Minnesota’s energy and economic development future.
