Andrea Novak, SVP, Marketing & Public Relations, St Paul Port Authority
Andrea Novak is a marketing communications professional with 25 years of experience working in a variety of industries including government, banking, and nonprofit sectors. She is currently the senior vice president of marketing at the Saint Paul Port Authority, supporting economic development, commercial real estate, sustainability, and finance-related initiatives.
A life-long Minnesotan, Andrea currently lives in Roseville with her husband Rob. Her current obsessions include pottery, Audible books, and trying not to be “overly involved” in the lives of her two adult daughters.

Deepinder Singh, Founder & CEO, 75F
Deepinder Singh co-founded 75F after having designed some of the world’s fastest core networks for Tier 1 service providers like AT&T, NTT and Verizon. With almost 25 years of experience in electronics and computing, he’s brought a wealth of embedded products to the market. His key goal in every endeavor is to simplify operational complexity and make products intuitive. 75F does just that — as the only IoT-native or continuously commissioning Building Management System on the market today, 75F is making commercial buildings browser ready in a traditionally manual and complex industry. 75F has won support from some of the biggest names in energy and technology, including Bill Gates’ Breakthrough Energy and Steve Case’s Rise of the Rest.

Wade W. Smith, CEO, EnergyPrint
Wade Smith is a Professional Engineer who spent 25 years working at Trane’s headquarters, including 5 years as VP and GM of Trane’s Building Automation Systems Division located in White Bear Lake. In 1996, he left Trane and formed a venture backed company that designed and commercialized a radio-based wireless submetering business. Following a successful exit in 2011, he became the executive director of AMCA, an international association of industrial fan manufacturers. He retired in 2015 to consult with several companies, most notably Twin City Fan here in Plymouth – then joined EnergyPrint last year in St. Paul. Wade also chairs a United Nations committee developing Building Efficiency Credits, which will be the efficiency equivalent to Renewable Energy Credits.

Frank Jossi
As the Minnesota correspondent since 2014 for Midwest Energy News, Frank Jossi covers regulatory issues, wind, solar, efficiency, electric vehicles, conservation programs, and beneficial electrification. He frequently writes for Finance & Commerce, including the monthly award-winning “Sustainable” column. His articles have appeared in more than 70 local, regional, national, and international publications. Frank taught twice abroad on Fulbright scholarships and was a Humphrey Fellow at the University of Minnesota.
