CEEM congratulates Kari Groth Swan for becoming the next Executive Director for the Minnesota Climate Innovation Finance Authority (MnCIFA)!

Join fellow CEEM members for this exclusive gathering to meet the new Executive Director and learn about MnCIFA’s financial tools. We’ll start with a brief overview of MnCIFA’s initiatives before jumping into casual conversations about financing clean energy projects. In addition, there will be time for networking between members.

Coffee and light food will be provided. The gathering will run 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Sunrise Banks corporate office (2525 Wabash Ave., St Paul, MN 55114).

Need a quick refresher on MnCIFA? During the 2023 Session, the Minnesota Legislature passed the bills required to establish and fund the Minnesota Climate Innovation Finance Authority, a publicly-accountable financing authority commonly known as a “green bank.” MnCIFA strives to support clean energy and greenhouse gas reduction projects by removing financial barriers and offering financial tools. Moreover, MnCIFA acts as a connector by developing communication between potential investing entities and qualified projects.
