2022 Minnesota Legislative Session Outlook
Save the date for Fredrikson & Byron’s 13th annual Minnesota Legislative Session Outlook event. The 2022 legislative session may feel similar to 2021 but, in some ways, will be different. There is an ongoing global pandemic and an expected budget surplus, but there are new Senate leaders, redistricting and upcoming elections for the legislature and all four statewide offices.
How will the House and Senate work together if one meets in person while the other offers hybrid options? Will the Governor and legislature agree on a supplement budget deal or will there be a drawn-out special session into the campaign season?
Learn the answers to these questions and your questions virtually on Wednesday, January 26, from 9-10:30 a.m. Moderated by the Star Tribune’s Briana Bierschbach, our virtual panel will give you a preview of the upcoming session’s major topics.
