This week, the Minnesota House and Senate created a conference committee to work out the differences between the two versions of this year’s omnibus supplemental budget bill.

Ten conferess, five from the House and five from the Senate were named to this committee which met throughout the week to walk through the side-by-side spreadsheet comparing the House, Senate, and Governor’s proposed appropriations.

Next week, the conferees will begin to meet again to take on the more difficult work of adopting same/similar language, create amendments, and make tough decisions on what is in and out.

We hope you’ll reach out to each of the conferees to tell them what’s important to you! Click here for contact details in our newsletter
