Introducing Claire Lund - Business Development & Programs Intern

< Back to Blog

My name is Claire Lund and I am very excited to be working with Clean Energy Economy Minnesota as their Business Development and Programs Intern!

This fall I will begin my junior year at Bemidji State University. I am pursuing a major in environmental studies with an emphasis on policy and planning with a minor in economics. In this field of study, I am looking forward to gaining experience at CEEM in which I can apply to my studies at Bemidji State University as well as put the knowledge that I have obtained to use in this internship.

I am particularly excited for the opportunities my internship with CEEM will offer in building relationships and connecting with companies and individuals. I am also looking forward to learning more in depth about clean energy policies and the economic benefits of clean energy that have not yet been covered in my studies.

In my free time I love nurturing my creative side whether that be through painting, drawing, or playing the violin and piano! In the summer, I love going out in my hammock to enjoy the sun and during the winter I like to cross country ski! I am also a big fan of traveling, and plan to study abroad in Costa Rica for this coming fall semester.

I think that my interests and studies align well with CEEM’s mission of promoting clean energy policies through educating people and businesses about the economic benefits that come along with clean energy. Being a part of the team at CEEM is a wonderful opportunity and I look forward to the experiences that this internship will bring!
